Job Purpose:
As the Corporate Counsel - Contracts, you will manage the business and legal contracts of our Corporate Legal Team.

Essential Functions:
  • Conduct, review, interpret, and analyze legal information.
  • Support all departments by drafting, reviewing, interpreting, and negotiating a variety of agreements with external partners, customers, and vendors.
  • Provide sound legal advice on a variety of legal documents including lease terms, vendor contracts, and employment agreements.
  • Organize issues and ideas in written and verbal communication.
  • Collaborate effectively within Risk Department and direct business clients.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple high-priority tasks.

Competencies:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience practicing corporate law, with a focus on drafting, negotiating and reviewing contracts including but not limited to non-disclosure agreements, contracts for service, vendor contracts, and non-compete agreements. 
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical, written, verbal and interpersonal skills.

Required Education and Experience:
  • License to practice law in a US state.
  • Law degree from an accredited law school
