An Estate Planning Law Firm is seeking an associate attorney to join our team. Our ideal candidate has strong tax knowledge with a background in finance or accounting. Your daily practice will focus on business compliance, mergers and acquisitions, advanced estate planning, and trust administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and review documents related to mergers and acquisitions, business succession planning, entity formation, contracts, and compliance.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies related to tax planning and corporate transactions.
- Manage assigned cases to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Detail-oriented and organized with a high level of professionalism and integrity.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in finance or accounting
- Strong interest and knowledge in tax law
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active state bar membership
- LLM in taxation is preferred but not required.
- Minimum of two years of experience in estate planning or corporate law.
