Description:
Lake Indigent Defense provides legal representation for indigent and low
income people charged with crimes in Lake County by contracting with
independent criminal defense attorneys. We are currently seeking
applications for independent contractors who are licensed and in good
standing with the California State Bar, to accept court appointments in
felony cases. Contractors will be responsible for handling all stages of
representation on felony criminal charges, including at preliminary
hearings and jury trials. Contractors are paid a monthly flat fee.
