Clark Hill PLC is seeing individuals for the role of Conflicts Resolution Manager to join the Detroit or Washington, DC office. This Manager will work closely with the Conflicts and New Business Intake team and firm attorneys to identify possible ethical and business-related conflicts of interest. This Manager will be responsible for (i) the timely and thorough analysis and resolution of any conflicts related to new business or lateral hiring due diligence; (ii) the substantive review of incoming file opening requests; and (iii) the thorough resolution of identified conflicts of interest issues. Candidates must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the Rules of Professional Conduct relating to conflicts of interest. This position requires critical thinking, strong judgment, and decision-making skills, with an ability to research and seek out potential issues related to new firm business and new hires. Candidates must be self-starters who possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team. A track record of excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing the highest quality of client service is strongly preferred. JD is essential, but bar licensure is not required.
