Robinson+Cole, an Am Law 200 Firm, seeks an associate with three to five years' experience to join its dynamic and growing Real Estate + Development practice group based in the Boston or Providence office.Robinson+Cole's Real Estate + Development practice regularly represents developers, lenders, buyers, sellers and owners in commercial real estate transactions on a national basis. In addition, the Real Estate + Development group represents developers and lenders in the area of affordable housing development, rehabilitation, and refinancing.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of three (3) years of experience representing clients in commercial real estate transactions, including developers, investors, and lenders in acquisition and financing transactions. Strong fundamentals, including experience with or exposure to title and survey review, acquisitions and dispositions, transaction and loan document drafting and review, and zoning review are required. Experience with affordable housing transactions is a plus. Candidates should work well as part of a team and enjoy a fast-paced work environment.
Admission to the Massachusetts bar is required. Top academic and transactional credentials, excellent writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills also required. Please include a cover letter, resume, and law school transcript.
