Role Description:This is a full-time on-site role for a Commercial Litigation Attorney at FCOMH. The firm seeks an attorney with a least three (3) years of experience in complex commercial litigation (this is not an insurance defense role). The successful candidate will be responsible for working independently and as part of a team on a full spectrum of litigation tasks, including legal research, drafting motions, representing clients in courts and trials, conducting depositions, and providing legal counsel on complex insurance coverage matters.
Qualifications:
- Strong legal research, writing, motion, and court representation skills
- Experience in conducting trials and depositions
- Experience briefing and arguing appeals
- Top-level academic credentials (generally top third of law school class)
- Admission to the New Jersey and New York bars (other jurisdictions desirable but not required)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
