Description:
An International Law Firm seeks two associates to join its commercial litigation practice. Qualified candidates will have 1 to 3 years of litigation experience, including experience drafting correspondence, briefs and motions, handling fact discovery. Deposition and trial preparation experience would also be helpful. Candidates must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, a track record of academic and professional excellence, excellent project management skills, and strong research, analysis, and writing skills. The associate will work with lawyers in the firm's Los Angeles office, among others. The associate's primary practice group will be either consumer litigation, handling class action defense, unfair competition and related matters for manufacturers, retailers and financial services companies, or international disputes, which will include cross-border arbitration and related domestic litigation. We anticipate that the associate will work with lawyers across several of the firm's other practice groups including investigations and white-collar defense and general commercial litigation.Our associates receive meaningful, hands-on legal work at every stage of their careers. The expected salary for this position is $215,000 - $250,000, depending on experience.
