Responsibilities and practice:A Worlds Largest Law Firm is seeking an associate to join our sophisticated Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice in our Chicago office. Candidates should have 4-6 years of complex litigation experience, including media law experience, excellent academic credentials, and proven analytic ability. Our associates work collaboratively with our partners and clients, and are key members of our team. Expected responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Drafting complex case evaluations and preparing briefs, pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents
- Working on all aspects of commercial litigation from inception through trials and appeals
- Conducting legal research and writing memoranda
- Conducting, propounding and responding to discovery (documents, written discovery, depositions)
- Working with clients, witnesses, experts and other counsel
Pursuant to Illinois law, the salary range for this position in Chicago is $280,000 to $345,000, based on experience. Based on years of experience, A Worlds Largest Law Firm associates may have a title of Associate, Managing Associate, or Senior Managing Associate. - Deposition and court experience is preferred

- Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois and be in good standing
