Job Overview:
Wasserman is seeking an experienced Business Affairs Attorney to join our Legal team, supporting our rapidly growing Brand and Content divisions. This role will focus on negotiating and managing a variety of commercial agreements tied to brand partnerships, influencer collaborations, and content creation. The ideal candidate has agency experience and is a practical problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and can balance legal risk with business strategy.

What You'll Do:
  • Negotiate, draft, and manage a high volume of agreements related to brand partnerships and content creation.
  • Assist in development of form agreements and template documents.
  • Provide business affairs guidance and support on wide range of opportunities, including brand partnership agreements, endorsements, influencer deals, and licensing agreements.
  • Provide plain-English legal advice and support on a wide range of topics including marketing, creative content production, promotions, procurement, relevant regulatory matters and intellectual property matters.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to structure innovative, strategic solutions that protect the interests of both the clients and the agency.

What We're Looking For:
  • JD degree with active bar membership required.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in-house legal, business affairs, or a similar role within the marketing agency industry.
  • Specific experience working with brand clients of a marketing agency.
  • Strong track record of negotiating and drafting complex agreements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with high-profile clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and strategic perspective.

Base salary range: $125,000 - $150,000, plus bonus potential if applicable for role.

Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
