The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Office is looking for an Attorney V to join their team. The Attorney V will be responsible for managing a division of attorneys, providing professional expertise and developing staff within the assigned unit.

The annual starting salary will be between $126,838 - $152,214 and will be based on experience and qualifications. Examples of Duties:
Review cases, assign to staff and provide advice and instructions in areas of case investigation, trial strategy and appropriate sentencing recommendations.

Conduct evaluation, training and performance reviews for staff. Maintain a caseload of major felonies or other investigations.

Supervise, review and evaluate processes to ensure that the necessary elements required for issuance of criminal charges, warrants, search warrants and Grand Jury subpoenas are met.

Communicates policies and procedures of the Prosecuting Attorney to law enforcement agencies, attorneys, students and various organizations.

Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a Juris Doctor degree from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association, current licensure as an attorney by the Missouri Bar Association and and ten years of related experience. Prefer prosecution and supervisory experience.
