Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Our Redmond, WA based client is looking for a qualified individual with a law degree from a reputable university and admission to the bar. The candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in immigration, specifically in employment-based immigration. Familiarity with family-based immigration is also acceptable. The role will involve reviewing non-immigrant and immigrant visa filings.

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Reviewing and analyzing non-immigrant and immigrant visa filings to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
  • Advising clients on the appropriate visa category and documentation required for their specific situation
  • Preparing and submitting petitions and applications to the appropriate government agencies
  • Communicating with government officials and clients to gather additional information and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Staying updated on changes in immigration laws and regulations to ensure accurate and timely filings
  • Managing a high volume of petitions and applications during busy times of the year
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Law degree from a reputable university
  • Admission to the bar
  • At least 1 year of experience in immigration law, with preference for employment-based immigration experience but also accepting family-based immigration experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of immigration laws and regulations, including changes and updates
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, especially during busy times of the year
  • Ability to multitask and manage a high volume of cases

  • A competitive pay range of $126,000-150,000(depending on experience)..
  • 15 days per year of Paid Time Off (PTO).
  • 9 paid holidays per year (which includes 1 personal floating holiday).
