Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for an Attorney at Trial Lawyers. The Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice, conducting research, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in various legal matters. The role will involve handling cases in the areas of Business, Auto, Civil Rights, Police Brutality, Retaliation, Med Mal, Personal Injury, and Health Care Law.Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Law
- Ability to provide legal advice and guidance
- Ability to take cases to trial
- Strong writing skills in terms of motions, discovery requests and responses, facilitation/case eval summaries, and settlement demands.
- Ability to work as a team
- Deposition experience
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Negotiation skills
Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial:
- Experience in Business, Auto, Civil Rights, Police Brutality, Retaliation, Med Mal, Personal Injury, and Health Care Law
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively
- Strong attention to detail
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
- Licensed to practice law in Michigan
