Job Summary:Dallas Immigration and Criminal Lawyers is looking to hire an Associate Attorney. We are an immigration firm that handles and litigates cases nationwide. We are looking for a motivated attorney who is eager to learn and work as a team, bring good energy to the office and has the ability to handle a solid case load and work with a diverse clientele.
The ideal candidate will have superb writing skills, organizational skills as well as possess great time management abilities. This role requires excellent legal research and drafting skills, as well as the ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of clients. The Attorney will be responsible for representing clients in legal proceedings and providing sound legal advice.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in court and during legal negotiations.
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation.
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure comprehensive client representation.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active Texas license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- The ideal candidate should have one (1) year of immigration experience.
- Provide legal representation in a wide range of immigration matters.
- Strong litigation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on achieving positive outcomes.
- Proficient in legal drafting and documentation processes.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in legal research.
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
