Description:
Responsibilities:- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
- Represent clients in court proceedings and other legal matters
- Conduct legal research using resources such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Draft legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and briefs
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Prepare and present cases in court
- Advise clients on legal rights, obligations, and options
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
- Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures
- Experience in legal administrative tasks, such as managing case files and deadlines
- Ability to litigate cases effectively and advocate for clients' interests
- Proficiency in conducting legal research using various resources
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with legal drafting, including contracts and legal opinions
- Familiarity with specialized areas of law relevant to the position
- Ability to write clear and concise legal documents
- Strong negotiation skills
