Description:

Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
  • Represent clients in court proceedings and other legal matters
  • Conduct legal research using resources such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
  • Draft legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and briefs
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
  • Prepare and present cases in court
  • Advise clients on legal rights, obligations, and options

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
  • Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures
  • Experience in legal administrative tasks, such as managing case files and deadlines
  • Ability to litigate cases effectively and advocate for clients' interests
  • Proficiency in conducting legal research using various resources
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with legal drafting, including contracts and legal opinions
  • Familiarity with specialized areas of law relevant to the position
  • Ability to write clear and concise legal documents
  • Strong negotiation skills
