Description:
A Medical Malpractice Defense Firm is a defense-oriented firm looking for an attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join our Nursing Home Defense, Medical Malpractice, and General Litigation team. This is a office position located in the downtown area (Attendance is Required).Qualifications/Skills:

- Ability to prioritize and meet multiple and competing deadlines
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with billing software
- Assist with drafting legal documents, including motions and pleadings
- Assist with the discovery process by answering and issuing written discovery, administering depositions, and examining documents
- Negotiate settlements
- Perform legal research
- Make court appearances as necessary
- Conduct and summarize depositions
Education Requirements:
- JD degree from an accredited law school
- License to practice law in Illinois
- (Preferred) 2-5 years' experience at a law firm or as an in-house counsel
License/Certification:
