Our busy law firm is growing and we are looking for talent that works hard to represent our clients well. The prime candidate will work seamlessly with both senior partners as well as administrative staff in an effort to effectively serve our clients. Responsibilities:
  • Take responsibility for administrative staff relating to client invoicing/billing records, setting up meetings with clients, and completing tasks
  • Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions
  • Prepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence
  • Identify client conflicts and determine case strategies with options for resolution
  • Advise clients by weighing available options toward a successful outcome and plan a course of action

Qualifications:
  • Jobseekers should be a member of their local bar association - active member preferred Association
  • Advanced computer skills working with legal research programs (Westlaw and Lexis) required
  • Decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a must
  • Prior experience working in a law firm for a minimum of 1-2 years required
  • Successful completion of accredited law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree with 2 years of related experience
