Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various areas of law, including but not limited to Estate planning, Business, Real Estate, and Commercial Litigation. This role requires strong research skills and the ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of clients. The Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in various legal matters.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in a variety of legal matters.
- Conduct thorough research to support case preparation.
- Draft legal documents including contracts, wills, and pleadings with precision.
- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact client cases.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to ensure comprehensive client representation.
- Manage case files efficiently, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Attend court hearings and other legal proceedings as required.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to Wisconsin Bar required. Admission to Illinois Bar strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Estate planning, Business, Real Estate law, and litigation is advantageous.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
- Exceptional legal drafting abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
