Description:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases.
  • Maintain billable hours as necessary.
  • Manage client relationships and a caseload with supervision.
  • Assist in the representation of clients in motion practice, conferences, mediations, and trial when and where necessary.

Position Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of Workers' Compensation experience required; 2-3 of Workers' Compensation experience preferred.
  • Must have a JD degree from an ABA-approved law school and maintain an active license in good standing in both New Jersey and New York.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred.
  • Must be a self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills, and outstanding communication skills with the ability to work as a team member in a high-volume fast paced work environment.
