Description:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases.
- Maintain billable hours as necessary.
- Manage client relationships and a caseload with supervision.
- Assist in the representation of clients in motion practice, conferences, mediations, and trial when and where necessary.
Position Requirements:
- 1-2 years of Workers' Compensation experience required; 2-3 of Workers' Compensation experience preferred.
- Must have a JD degree from an ABA-approved law school and maintain an active license in good standing in both New Jersey and New York.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred.
- Must be a self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills, and outstanding communication skills with the ability to work as a team member in a high-volume fast paced work environment.
