As an Associate Attorney at Bruning & Associates, PC, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of general civil litigation cases, including complex disputes, trials, and appeals. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and eager to join our team of accomplished litigators.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle a diverse caseload of general civil litigation matters.
Conduct legal research, analysis, and case preparation.
Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
Prepare for and represent clients in court hearings and trials.
Collaborate closely with your assigned paralegal for efficient case management.
Communicate with clients and opposing counsel to negotiate settlements and resolutions.
Stay current with changes in laws and regulations that may impact cases.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the state bar in Illinois.
5 years of experience in general civil litigation is preferred, but motivated recent graduates will be considered.
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
