Job Overview:New Jersey Employment Lawyers is a high-end Plaintiff's Employment Law Firm. We are seeking candidates with defense experience as all of the attorneys at the firm are former employment defense lawyers. We offer competitive salary, bonus and benefits.
Duties:
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Specialize in areas such as personal injury law, workers compensation law, and tribal law regulations
- Conduct legal research using resources like Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Prepare legal documents including drafting contracts, agreements, and pleadings
- Represent clients in court proceedings and litigate cases when necessary
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting clients' cases
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Experience in New Jersey Employment Law
- Admission to the state bar association where practicing law is required
- Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures
- Experience in legal research, drafting legal documents, and litigation
- Familiarity withWestlaw platforms
