Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and review documents related to mergers and acquisitions, business succession planning, entity formation, contracts, and compliance.
- Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
- Manage estate administration and probate proceedings with attention to detail and empathy for our clients' needs.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication.
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent technology skills (Mac proficiency preferred).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in the Georgia State Bar.
- A background in corporate law with a desire to gain experience in estate planning.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate law; experience in estate planning is a plus but not required.
