Our practice serves Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Ohio and Kentucky.
This is a great opportunity for an exceptional, motivated and results orientated Bankruptcy Associate Attorney who has experience in Default Services/Creditor's Rights/Bankruptcy. Please note that this position can be considered a Remote work opportunity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.:
- Review and sign documents and pleadings.
- Draft and execute documents and perform legal research
- Attend court hearings/matters for bankruptcy matters.
- Update the Firm/Clients on state specific bankruptcy changes
Qualifications/Requirements:
- In Good Standing with the States of Ohio and Kentucky with current bar membership
- Admission into the Bankruptcy Courts in Ohio and Kentucky. Indiana is a plus.
- Ability to deal with legal issues in a practical and efficient manner.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills; good interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical skills.
