Description of Company: A Family Law Firm is a seasoned family law attorney with over 15 years of experience. He is looking for a motivated attorney to help work his case load of clients as well as develop their own case load under his supervision and mentorship. You will provide a broad spectrum of legal services with an emphasis on family law and help grow a boutique law firm here in Austin. Main office is located in Northwest Hills in Central Austin 78731 at 2222 and Mesa, but expected ability for work from home and significant flexibility.Job Description:
Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and able to manage many family law cases and resolve disputes on behalf of clients by negotiating favorable and safe custodial terms, settling parental disputes, and advocating for clients in court.
Previous experience with family law is a plus but not required; we can train for the right individual.
This position can be hourly or salaried depending on the right fit for the candidate.
Responsibilities will include: consulting with clients to ascertain the details and merits of each case, drafting pleadings, discovery, representing clients at meetings, hearings, trials and much more.
Requirements:
- Accredited Law degree
- Licensed to practice law in Texas
- Proven experience practicing as an Attorney
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Capacity to regulate and perform under stress.
