We are a growing litigation practice based in Washington, DC representing clients in Maryland and Washington, D.C. Our practice focuses primarily on family law matters.We also represent clients in landlord-tenant, civil litigation, criminal and personal injury cases.
What you can expect:
We begin each week with a quick check-in to review what's on everyone's radar.
Additionally, each partner may conduct a weekly or bi-weekly case file review with staff.
On a daily basis, you'll work closely with team members, clients, and the court regarding your cases. Our cases involve extensive discovery and typically progress quickly, so you'll be responsible for managing your case files all the way through to trial, either as lead or second chair.
Attorneys are expected to meet an annual billable hour goal, which is designed to allow for a healthy work-life balance.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to the Maryland state bar association
- Be willing to waive into Washington, DC
- 1-2 years of litigation, family, landlord/tenant, and/or personal injury legal experience.
- Ability to provide detailed legal advice and conduct comprehensive research
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
