Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in personal injury litigation on the Plaintiff's side. This role requires excellent deposition taking skills, legal research skills, proficiency in legal drafting, and the ability to provide exceptional service to our clients.

Duties:
  • Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis to support case preparation and strategy development.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including discovery, and pleadings.
  • Defend and take depositions.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case management and trial preparation.
  • Question witnesses at trial and eventually serve as lead counsel in trial with regard to your cases.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to facilitate case progress.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar association or eligibility for admission.
  • Strong legal research skills with experience using Lexis-Nexis.
  • Knowledge of personal injury causes of action and Texas Rules of Civil Procedure.
  • Excellent legal drafting abilities with attention to detail.
  • Prior experience in a law office handling personal injury litigation is preferred.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Prior experience of 1-5 years as an attorney.
