Currently Hiring (Non-Remote):The Tallahassee office of A Labor & Employment Law Firm is seeking to add a Labor & Employment Associate Attorney with 2 to 4 years of litigation experience to the team.

The Associate Attorney's responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Analyze complex legal factual issues while conducting extensive and well-reasoned legal research.
- Independently develop and aggressively present defense strategies on behalf of clients from inception through trial.
- Prepare pleadings, written discovery, motions, and briefs in support of defense strategies.
- Provide effective and timely information, legal advice, and other services.
- Communicate with the court, witnesses, opposing counsel, and co-counsel with professional diplomacy and discretion.
- Participate in claims file reviews.
- Independently conduct trials, depositions, arbitration, and meditations
- Attend continuing legal education seminars in order to maintain a high level of professional expertise.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school and a license to practice in the state of Florida is required.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of legal practice with state and federal court experience.
- Labor and employment law experience or Litigation law experience.
- Legal research and motion practice expertise.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook); LMS+ experience.
- Self-directed aptitude with excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
