A Midwest Firm, a litigation boutique of 170 employees, has an opportunity for an associate attorney with at least two years of experience in all phases of commercial litigation to work in the firm’s St. Louis, Missouri or Belleville, Illinois office.
Candidates must be licensed in Missouri and Illiniois, ideal candidates will also be licensed in Kansas and Arkansas.

- Manage file throughout litigation process independently and as a part of the team.
- Conduct fact investigations.
- Handle document productions and other discovery tasks.
- Prepare witnesses for deposition.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Prepare pleadings, briefs, and motions.
- Review and analyze policies, contracts, and other legal documents.
- Court hearing preparation and attendance including oral arguments of motions.
- Trial preparation and attendance including trial team support and direct and cross examination of witnesses.
