Job Description:We have an immediate opening for an associate attorney to join our Riverside office. We are the Inland Empires' biggest full-service immigration law firm with 15 years of experience, providing quality legal service for immigrant communities worldwide. With offices in Riverside and Mexico City, we have entered ourselves into the business immigration market, ready to expand our reach.
A successful candidate will be someone who is accountable, organized, with a team mentatlity that is committed to the immigrant community, and someone who upholds clients' rights and provides the best possible immigration strategy in every case. The position requires, representation of foreign nationals in court hearings and immigration interviews; maintaining client relationships; preparing reports; communication of case progress to the senior attorney; and lastly conducting client consultations to retain new business. Spanish speaker ideal, but not required.
Applicants are expected to travel between the Los Angeles immigration court and our office in Riverside several times a week we offer mileage and parking reimbursement. Applicants must be a Licensed Attorney in good standing. The position if for our Riverside CA office.

Job duties may include but are not limited to:
- Meet with clients in local office, court and detention facilities to discuss immigration options and application strategies
- Assist Guatemalan nationals at the Consulate of Guatemala in San Bernardino or at the events the Consulate holds
- Collect retainers from clients and execute contracts that specify the parameters of the working relationship
- Research cases by conducting declarations, reading statements, reviewing evidence, completing extensive research into laws and regulations
- Plan and present arguments in immigration court and interviews on behalf of clients and advise them following each hearing
- Maintain client relationships by creating a good rapport with clients including communicating often and explaining complex legal proceedings and concepts
- Attend hearings in immigration court, file visa applications at USCIS offices and other locations in the United States
- Prioritize casework and delegate to supporting staff
- Track case deadlines including important filing requirements for immigration services
- Plan, draft and execute legal arguments
- Review and sign immigration applications for affirmative and defensive immigration strategies

Educational requirements:
Juris Doctorate degree (J.D.) or equivalent.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Required: Valid state driver's license
- Required: Current admittance to a state bar
- Required: Valid passport
