Wesbrooks Law Firm focus's primarily on Civil Litigation, Bankruptcy, Probate, Family Law, Estate Planning and Personal Injury. Our law firm is actively seeking an Associate Attorney to join our team. We are seeking candidates who are motivated and to succeed in litigation on behalf of clients of the firm. As an Associate Attorney, this position requires an organized, leading, multitasking, sharp, ethical, and detail oriented associate. Offices in Peoria/Glendale and Scottsdale. The associate position will include working in both offices from time to time.Skills:
- Candidate must possess a positive attitude and a good work ethic,
- Candidate should have good people (communication and consultation) skills,
- Self-motivated individual that enjoys taking initiative and is a team player,
- Effective legal writing and argument to the court,
- Knowledge of civil rules and litigation procedures - discovery, disclosure statements, etc.
- Bankruptcy experience a plus, but not required.
Position Duties:
- New Client Consultations in office or via telephone conference,
- Court appearances and filings,
- Drafting various correspondence, memorandum, motions, and other documents,
- Will require some travel time to our Scottsdale office, & court locations depending on the requirements of the firm, as well as all courts in Maricopa County.
Requirements:
- Experience in legal field (working in law firm) preferred.
- Experience in areas of practice preferred.
