Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Law Attorney to join our team full-time in Miami. The primary focus of this role is handling family law cases, including divorce, child custody, support disputes, and domestic violence matters. In addition, the attorney may occasionally be required to handle criminal cases as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, and domestic violence cases.
Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
Provide legal counsel and support clients through mediation and court proceedings.
Occasionally manage criminal cases, including misdemeanors and felonies, when necessary.
Conduct thorough legal research and stay updated on changes in family and criminal law.
Work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop strong legal strategies.
Appear in court for hearings, trials, and mediations as required.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in the state of Florida and in good standing.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in family law, with additional experience in criminal law preferred.
Strong litigation and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
