Description:

Purpose:
The Associate Attorney is responsible for reviewing foreclosure related legal motions, in addition to attending foreclosure settlement conferences for the Firm. This person will utilize legal knowledge and experience as necessary to facilitate the process on the behalf of our Clients.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Review Foreclosure Related Motions such as Foreclosure Complaints, Orders of Reference and Judgments
  • Attend Hearing and Mediation Appearances
  • Prepare Analysis of cases and advise Clients regarding legal strategies
  • Draft Court Pleadings, Status Letters, Denial Letters and Written Requests
  • Must collaborate with Supervising Foreclosure Attorney, Business Unit and Per Diem Appearance Counsel
  • Provide Legal Directives for Clients on the behalf of the Firm
  • Directly Manage Escalated Cases including the management of Client Systems
  • Coordinate Bank Rep and Client Appearances
  • Must be willing to Travel on an as needed basis

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree with a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • Member of the New York Bar while maintaining all necessary licensing and continuing legal education requirements.
