- Conduct Attorney Engagement Meetings with clients, assess their needs, and develop strategies to meet Estate Planning needs
- Show compassion when interacting with clients to earn their trust and build confidence
- Educate the client and answer questions to ensure understanding of the plan
- Update the CRM system with meeting or call details on every interaction
- Seek opportunities for continuous learning to keep up to date with legal issues affecting our areas of practice
- Keep files organized to make sure the most recent updates are accessible to other attorneys, paralegals, and staff
- Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings
- Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action
- Conduct legal research, prepare for and attend hearings and/or other legal proceedings, and provide legal counsel with the help of senior associate attorneys
- Communicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently
Qualifications:
- Must be licensed to practice in Georgia
- Extraordinary presentation and client experience skills (Required)
- Track record of success with increasing responsibilities
- Good standing with the Georgia State Bar Association
- Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff and clients
- Ability to work with senior attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client base
- Has a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school
- Applicants must have successfully passed the state bar exam
- Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA)
