The ideal candidate will be required to handle various types of cases and court appearances, including removal defense and criminal. Spanish speaking is preferred but not required. Experience preferred. Travel is required (Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, Austin). Pay is commensurate with experience.

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts
  • Assist with case management and preparation for hearings and trials
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the legal process
  • Attend court proceedings
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the practice area

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admitted to practice law in the Texas
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Spanish Preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficient in legal research tools and software
