Overview:
We are seeking a recent law school graduate to join our transactional real estate practice as an Associate Attorney. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented candidate to develop expertise in private lending and lender-side real estate transactions.

This role provides direct exposure to all phases of commercial private lending transactions from inception through closing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate all aspects of real estate transactions with lenders, borrower and seller attorneys, borrowers and sellers, brokers, and title companies
  • Review title reports, surveys, entity documents and related due diligence materials
  • Assist in the drafting and review of commercial loan documents
  • Prepare closing documents and assist with closing logistics
  • Manage multiple files and deadlines in a high-volume transactional environment
  • Work collaboratively with other senior and associate attorneys, paralegals, and support staff in managing lender-side real estate transactions from inception through closing

Qualifications:
Education & Admission
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the New York State Bar or pending admission

Experience:
The following experience is a plus, but not required:
  • Prior internship, clerkship, or coursework in:
  • Commercial real estate law
  • Transactional law
  • Banking or finance
