As an Associate Attorney, you will work with families to provide legal guidance and strategies that instill confidence to ensure that their legacies are protected and their needs are met!

Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the Associate Attorney are to build confidence, affirming they made the right choice at the Attorney Engagement Meeting, verify their plan, gather designations, and oversee client experience

What you will do:
  • Conduct Attorney Engagement Meetings with clients, assess their needs, and develop strategies to meet Estate Planning needs, Medicaid benefits, probate, and guardianship needs.
  • Show compassion when interacting with clients to earn their trust and build confidence.
  • Educate the client and answer questions to ensure understanding of the plan.
  • Gather needed information, including client details, designations, and confirm referrals. Provide these meeting details within 48 hours of the Attorney Engagement to the assigned Paralegal.
  • Serve as the point of contact for client legal questions that require an attorney.
  • Update the CRM system with meeting or call details on every interaction.
  • Follow up with clients to maintain relationships.
  • Manage caseload with minimal oversight and work directly with legal team members to ensure clients' goals are met within the expected timeframe.
  • Provide excellent service to ensure the client has an exceptional client experience.
  • Seek opportunities for continuous learning to keep up to date with legal issues affecting our areas of practice.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
What you will bring:
  • Attorney admitted to the Georgia Bar and in good standing.
  • Experience as an attorney, preferably related to Estate Planning, Probate, or Guardianship/Conservatorship- But not required.
  • Excellent communication skills, including using appropriate tone and professionalism when engaging with clients.
  • Strong ethical compass.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • A self-starter with a positive attitude, resilient emotional intelligence, strong work ethic, and good judgment.
  • Strong negotiation skills, including the willingness and ability to reconcile differences and find mutual wins.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
