Description:
Growing mid-sized downtown Dallas, Texas civil defense litigation firm is seeking an attorney with 3-7 years of litigation experience to handle an active litigation docket. Applicant should be highly motivated, be able to work independently, and possess excellent research and writing skills. Spanish language proficiency a plus. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.Associate Attorney Responsibilities:
- Draft motions and prepare reports
- Manage designated litigation caseload
- Review client documents and claim files in preparation for deadlines
- Participate in court appearances and depositions
- Communicate with clients and provide status reports
- Maintain client relationships
- Conduct legal research and trial preparation
- Work closely with other attorneys on legal projects
Associate Attorney Qualifications:
- J.D. Degree from an accredited law school required
- License to practice law in Texas required
- 3-7 years of litigation experience required
