Associate Attorney (Hybrid)

Jacobson Markham, LLP, a well-established AV-rated law firm, is looking for a highly motivated and well-organized associate with 0-5 years' experience to join our firm. Our team is led by two trial attorneys with a strong foothold in the Northern California legal community who have built a solid reputation for delivering exceptional legal services and results for their clients.

Practice areas include defense of individuals, businesses and public entities in a wide variety of cases, including personal injury claims, products liability, employment law and more. You will be engaged in diverse and intellectually stimulating civil litigation matters, ranging from complex multi-party cases to everyday disputes.

Responsibilities:

• All aspects of litigation support, including defense strategy development, discovery planning, motion work, depositions, court appearances, trial preparation and trial.
• Work collaboratively with partners and other associates to develop appropriate legal strategies.
• Provide direction to supporting legal assistants, law clerks and paralegals.

This position presents a unique opportunity where a young attorney will get hands-on experience managing cases, working directly with clients, and learning the ins and outs of litigation they can use throughout their careers. The position provides immediate full immersion into cases and client relationships in a very supportive and team-friendly environment. The firm prides itself on providing associates with ongoing training and mentorship to ensure new associates have an opportunity to grow and succeed. Civil litigation experience is a plus, but not required. Recently licensed attorneys who are well-organized and motived to learn are encouraged to apply.
