Position Overview:We are seeking a Tennessee-licensed Estate Planning and Probate Attorney with experience handling estate planning and probate matters. Experience with advanced planning strategies is a plus, but our priority is finding someone who fits our firm culture and is committed to delivering excellent service through consistent communication, thoughtful guidance, and practical legal solutions.
This attorney will work directly with clients, team members, courts, and other professionals to assist with estate planning, probate administration, and related matters. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, responsive, and committed to being part of a team that provides high-quality legal services at fair prices.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities may include:
- Meeting with clients to discuss estate planning goals, probate matters, and related legal needs.
- Drafting estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance directives, and related instruments.
- Handling probate administration matters from opening through closing.
- Advising clients regarding estate administration, fiduciary duties, beneficiary issues, and probate court procedures.
- Assisting with trust administration and related planning matters.
- Communicating clearly and consistently with clients, team members, courts, financial professionals, and other parties.
- Managing assigned matters efficiently and keeping cases moving forward.
- Working collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to provide a smooth and positive client experience.
- Helping maintain the firm's reputation for friendly, responsive, and professional service.
Qualifications:
- Active license to practice law in Tennessee required.
- Experience in estate planning and probate matters required.
- Georgia law license is a plus.
- Advanced estate planning experience is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent client-service mindset with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly and compassionately.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple matters while maintaining responsiveness and professionalism.
- Team-oriented attitude and willingness to collaborate with attorneys and staff.
- Sound judgment, integrity, and commitment to doing the right thing for clients.
