A Law Firm in Alabama, one of the fastest-growing healthcare and corporate law firms in the Southeast, is seeking a talented Commercial Litigation Associate with 2-5 years of experience to join our Birmingham, Alabama office. This role offers the opportunity to work with sophisticated private equity clients, collaborate with top-tier legal professionals, and gain exposure to complex commercial disputes.The ideal candidate will have litigation experience in commercial or corporate matters and be adept at handling case strategy, client communication, and courtroom representation. Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Alabama and in good standing. Licensure in other jurisdictions is highly valued but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in a variety of commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, and shareholder issues.
- Manage all aspects of litigation, including research, drafting pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, and trial preparation.
- Develop and execute case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys.
- Build and maintain client relationships with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Stay updated on relevant legal and industry developments.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- 2-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in commercial or corporate litigation.
- Licensed to practice law in Alabama and in good standing; additional state licenses are appreciated.
- Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to client service and ethical practice.
