Description:
The Public Defender at the Pueblo of Isleta is hiring an Assistant Public Defender to provide in-house counsel to clients where the Public Defender has a conflict of interest as well as to assist the Public Defender in cases where there is no conflict. The Assistant Public Defender will represent Native Americans in charged with crimes at the Pueblo of Isleta when the cases are filed in Tribal Court. The position is grant-funded for three years.
