- Manage commercial agreements: Review, negotiate, and close commercial agreements, including software subscription agreements, SaaS, marketing, agency and consulting agreements, NDAs, and other vendor and customer agreements
- Create contract strategies: Execute contracting strategies that optimize our business objectives while reducing “time-to-value”
- Manage contract workflow: Oversee overall process for effective management of commercial contracts including effectively prioritizing contracts for review
- Find ways to streamline processes: Help build and maintain contracting playbooks, templates, wikis, and other tools that help streamline our commercial processes and create leverage for the Legal and business teams
- Collaborate with internal partners: Build effective relationships to drive business objectives
- Be an advisor to the business: Provide risk-weighted legal advice to management on contract negotiations and related transactional activity
- Provide solutions to potential issues: Interpret contractual terms and guidance on legal and business risks as well as providing creative solutions

Qualifications that make you the perfect fit!
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree and licensed in MO required; Active membership in Missouri Bar required
- 5+ years of experience in commercial contracting in a law firm or corporate legal department
- Demonstrated experience in negotiating, drafting, and managing contracts from start to finish
- Demonstrated experience with contract management system; experience with HighQ contract management system preferred
- Possess a practical approach to problem-solving and be able to counsel internal clients with clear, concise and creative advice on timelines to meet business needs
- Operate autonomously while being a team player who brings a positive, "can do" attitude to the workplace and works collaboratively with other members of the Legal Team and with internal clients
- Thrives in an ever-changing, start-up like environment, and works quickly under time-pressure deadlines
