The mission of the A Government Entity Office of the District Attorney is to seek justice in the enforcement of the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, to work closely with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies in preventing and controlling crime, seek just punishment for those guilty of unlawful behavior, and to ensure the fair and impartial administration of justice. We strive to build a stronger office through recruitment efforts and to maintain the highest standards of professional and ethical requirements.

This Assistant District Attorney serves as the prosecuting attorney in criminal trials, prepares and files court-related legal documents, litigates a variety of hearings including arraignment, pretrial motions, bail, parole, probation, and sentencing, and performs various other related duties.

Minimum Qualifications:
Qualified applicants must possess a Juris Doctorate (JD) degree supplemented by a minimum of six (6) months of experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
