Western New England University School of Law seeks applicants for the position of Assistant Dean of Career Services. The Assistant Dean of Career Services of the School of Law reports directly to the Dean of the School of Law and is generally responsible for all the Career Services activities relating to the students and alumni of Western New England University School of Law. Responsibilities include providing operational leadership for activities and functions in the Career Services Office and seeing to the successful execution of plans made for career services and professional development affecting the students and graduates of the School of Law.

Qualified candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree and (strongly preferred) a J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school; analytical skills necessary to make key policy, administrative, and budget decisions relating to career services efforts; extremely effective oral and written communications skills; organization and the self-discipline to work independently; and competencies in management of resources; business and organization skills; communication and positive team building skills. Operations, management, and finance experience required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a related field such as higher education, law, human resources, or career services who have experience working with students in a higher education setting, particularly students who are from communities historically excluded from the legal profession.
