A Florida's Leading Defense Firm seeks an appellate attorney to join our Miami office.

Responsibilities:

Identify appellate issues and procedural approaches
Prepare legal arguments and appellate briefs
Collaborate with trial attorneys to preserve issues for appeal and develop litigation and appellate strategies
Perform legal research
Advise on and draft motions to narrow scope for future appeals.
Present oral arguments

Qualifications:

Must be a licensed member of the Florida Bar
Must have excellent legal research skills and exceptional legal writing skills
Experience as an appellate attorney or as a post-graduate judicial law clerk preferred
