The Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University is pleased to invite applications for adjunct faculty positions in a broad range of substantive areas for the 2026-27 academic year including. This is a part-time position.
Our adjunct faculty benefit from being part of an active, engaged, and diverse law school community of scholars and teachers. All adjunct faculty are warmly encouraged to participate in our workshops, conferences, and other aspects of academic life at the Law School and at the University.
Qualifications:
- A J.D. degree is required.
- At least five years of professional experience in the related subject matter.
- Candidates must demonstrate a strong record of excellence in teaching, scholarship and/or practical experience in their field of expertise.
Preferred Quals Summary
- Candidates who have previous experience teaching in a law school are preferred.
