Description:

Warner Norcross + Judd is now accepting applications from rising 2Ls for our ten week summer associate program held in 2026. We are seeking a diverse group of accomplished, team oriented students with an outstanding academic record, strong interpersonal and communication skills and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Our summer associates work on projects from all firm practice areas to help them decide which area of law to choose. In 2024, our 12 summer associates completed 190 projects in more than 20 different practice areas! Our work assignment system continues into an attorney's first year with the firm, allowing our attorneys to choose (rather than be assigned) a practice area that fits their interests, work styles and personalities.

Responsibilities:
  • Work on challenging projects in a variety of legal practice areas under the supervision of the firm's attorneys
  • Conduct legal research
  • Support attorneys in preparing for client meetings and court proceedings
  • Draft legal memos, documents and briefs
  • Attend spectator events (client meetings, court proceedings etc.) with firm attorneys
  • Attend firm wide events, practice group meetings and training programs
  • Participate in mentor/mentee team meetings
  • Attend social events designed to help you to get to know our firm and our firm members

We seek to provide summer associates with a realistic picture of what life would be like as an associate attorney at Warner.
