Our highly competitive legal internship program offers current law school students the rare opportunity to gain real world experience in all areas of the law within NIKE’s global Legal department based at our World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon. Our specialized expert legal practice groups function in particular areas of the law, including brand communications, corporate governance and securities, brand protection, intellectual property, sports marketing, business transactions, employment/immigration, real estate, and litigation. As an intern you will assist NIKE in-house lawyers and legal teams on a wide range of complex legal issues

You will gain hands-on experience in the structuring, drafting and implementing of a wide range of business transactions, to help us advance and guide NIKE’s business through superior, innovative and offense-minded legal counsel. You will participate in the broader NIKE, Inc. internship program, which enable networking opportunities and broader exposure to other aspects of NIKE as a company.
  • Law student, preferably 1L, from ABA accredited top law school
  • Top 25% class rank
  • Excellent oral communication and writing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities under tight time deadlines
  • Entrepreneurial; eager to learn, team player, comfortable seeking out assignments
  • Demonstrated leadership, business experience, or other unique qualifications or skills may also be considered
